Congregational Volunteer Opportunities

• Volunteers serving as USHERS, GREETERS, READERS, ACOLYTES and AUDIO/VISUAL are an integral part to each worship service.


• ALTAR GUILD prepares for communion and baptisms, changes seasonal paraments and banners, orders weekly altar flowers requested by congregants for special occasions, as well as lilies and tulips at Easter and poinsettias at Christmas. They also assist other volunteers who decorate the sanctuary for the Christmas season.


• The CHOIR meets for rehearsal on Thursday evenings and is seeking those who wish to join and share their talents of making a joyful noise for the Lord.


• A WORSHIP PLANNING team meets to discuss and choose themes for sermon series throughout the year.


• The FACILITIES team covers a broad range of support activities such as clean-up days, building maintenance/repair and lawn care.
